Overload protection: ABB 88FT05C-E applies the principle of current thermal effect and uses an electrical thermal bimetallic strip as an overload relay with a sensitive element. When the motor is overloaded, the main bimetallic strip is heated to the operating temperature, causing the relay to operate and disconnect the power circuit of the motor to protect it from overload and damage.
Current regulation: ABB 88FT05C-E is equipped with a current regulation cam to adjust the set current, which can be flexibly set according to the rated current of the protected motor, so that the relay can accurately play a protective role when the motor is overloaded.
Temperature compensation: A temperature compensation device is provided to ensure that the action characteristics remain basically unchanged within the ambient medium temperature range of -20℃~60℃. This is because changes in ambient temperature may affect the action characteristics of the thermal relay. Temperature compensation can ensure that the relay can reliably protect the motor from overload at different ambient temperatures.
Reset function: There is a reset adjustment knob to adjust the reset mode, generally there are two reset states: manual and automatic. Manual reset requires manual operation of the reset button to restore the module to normal working state; automatic reset is that after the fault is eliminated, it automatically returns to the initial state, which is convenient for use in different application scenarios.
