Power and communication connection: ABB IMDSO14 has three card edge connectors (P1, P2 and P3), P1 is connected to the logic power supply (+5 VDC) to provide driving power for the module circuit; P2 connects the module to the I/O expander bus for communication with the control module; P3 uses a cable to output digital signals and connects to the termination unit (TU) or termination module (TM) to achieve connection with field devices.
Circuit design: Consists of a single printed circuit board, occupying a slot in the module mounting unit (MMU). 16 independent digital signals are output on the printed circuit board through solid-state circuits, 12 of which are independent of each other, and the remaining two pairs share the positive output line.
Load voltage support: ABB IMDSO14 can handle load voltages of 24 VDC or 48 VDC, can adapt to different field power conditions, and has strong compatibility and flexibility.
