Note: ABB RLM01 can convert a single non-redundant PROFIBUS link to become two redundant links, or two redundancy links integrated into one PROFIBUS DP link, to enhance system reliability, security data continuity and communication stability.
Strong compatibility: ABB RLM01 supports multiple transmission rates from 9.6Kbps to 12Mbps, and can seamlessly connect to various PROFIBUS devices without any compatibility issues. As transparent PROFIBUS configuration the slave address does not need to be set, thus enabling a very easy configuration.
Scalability: ABB RLM01 supports up to 31 PROFIBUS clients. The number of connected devices can also be further expanded so that the needs of large and complex industrial automation systems can be met when repeaters (such as optical fiber-electrical repeaters) are used.
It does this in four ways: By using ABB RLM01 to amplify the input data signal form and amplitude, ensure the signal quality, monitor in real-time the activity status and error conditions of the three links to ensure the operation of the system stable.
