EPRO GmbH was founded in Gronau, Germany in 1970 and became independent as epro Electronic Systems GmbH in 1992.
Since 1997 and 1998, epro has launched the MMS6000 rotating machinery monitoring system, which represents the most advanced level in the world, based on the
RMS-700 steam turbine monitoring and protection system of Philips.
On March 31, 2009, Emerson of the United States completed the acquisition of all shares of epro GmbH.
