High-precision DC feedback control

GE IS200EDCFG1BAA is used as an excitation DC feedback board (EDCF). The module directly measures the excitation current (maximum 500mV signal) and excitation voltage of the SCR bridge through a DC shunt with an accuracy of ±1%. The onboard 7-speed voltage scaling selector (140V RMS to 1400V RMS) can adapt to generators of different power levels.

Fiber optic isolation and anti-interference design

GE IS200EDCFG1BAA is connected to the EISB control board through the HFBR-1528 fiber optic connector to achieve electrical isolation of signal transmission, and the anti-electromagnetic interference (EMI) capability is improved by more than 30dB.

GE IS200EDCFG1BAA supports plastic optical fiber (POF, 10 meters) and hard-clad quartz fiber (HCS, 90 meters) to meet long-distance transmission requirements.

Redundancy and Reliability

Triple independent power input (24V DC) supports automatic switching when power fails to ensure continuous operation of the excitation system.

Onboard PSOK LED indicator monitors the power status in real time. Green light indicates normal power supply and quickly locates the fault point when abnormal.

8 sets of bridge voltage scaling jumpers (JP3-JP10) can flexibly configure the voltage feedback ratio according to the SCR bridge type (such as three-phase full-controlled bridge, single-phase bridge).

Hardware Installation

It needs to be directly connected to the EISB board (such as IS200EISBG1BAA) through optical fiber to ensure that the signal delay is <1μs.

It is recommended to install vertically and reserve 5cm heat dissipation space to prevent dust from clogging the onboard ventilation holes.

System Configuration

Use GE official tools (such as Cimplicity) to configure the excitation control algorithm, including voltage regulation mode (constant voltage/constant current), overexcitation protection threshold, etc.

It is necessary to refer to the "GEH-6632 EX2100 Excitation System User Manual" to set the jumper (such as JP7 to select the fiber type).

Maintenance Recommendations

Clean the fiber interface every quarter to avoid signal loss due to optical attenuation; check the shunt connection terminals every year to prevent oxidation from causing measurement deviations.

In case of faults, the LED indicator and test points can be used to quickly locate the fault (such as P1 connector pin 1 is the positive pole of the excitation current feedback).
