TheGE IS200EPBPG1ACD is a key component of the exciter power backplane (EPBP), used to support multiple power modules (EPSMG1 is one), converting the 125V DC input into multiple stable voltages such as ±15V and +24V in order to provide power supply to the controllers, fans, the demagnetization modules, among others.

The GE IS200EPBPG1ACD is constructed with industrial grade components and opticalisolation, and is resistant to electromagnetic interference. It refreshesthe power on-board to know the status in real time. When the voltageis not normal or the temperature over standard, it will alarm through the LED indicator and digital signal that no equipment to be damaged.

Flexibility and compatibilityof the interface

The GE IS200EPBPG1ACD has several backplane connectors (for example, P0 and P2) and it allows two mostcommon communication devices RS-422 and Ethernet, and high speed data swops between other Control Modules like ESEL, EBKP. It's compatible withGE Mark VIe and EX2100 excitation control systems and a range of demanding industrial applications including gas and steam turbines.

Intelligent diagnosisand protection function

The built-in power monitoring monitoring circuit monitors the output voltage, current, and load status in real time, detects exceptions such as short circuit and overcurrent by itself-test, andoutputs the faulty code through the digital signal interface (for example, SOE--the recorder) for quick positioning and repair.
