Triconex 8110 High Density Main Chassis 8110 Rack 

Rack style: high-density main frame belongs to V9 TRICON system, and supports main rack, expansion rack, remote extension rack

Supports adding up the number of up to 118 modules( input/output module, communication module) of which the points are 2048 points for digital input, 1024 points for digital output, 1024 points for analog input, 512 points for analog output, 80 points for pulse input.

Three sizes are available:

8110-1: supports 96 digital I/O and 48 analog I/O

8110-2: supports 144 digital I/O and 72 analog I/O

8110-4: supports 192 digital I/O and 96 analog I/O

Two sets of RS-485 I/O expansion bus ports for redundant channels A, B and C.

The communication module can interact with Modbus devices, DCS systems, an d external hosts over point-to-point or 802.3 networks.

Power supply: 24VDC input

Duty cycle range is (5-30)%, with fidelity range going from 10% to 90% Range of work temperature: 40 F - 140 F Operating temperature range: 40 F - 140 F.

Humidity: 5 to 95% (non-condensing)

Vibration resistance: up to standard of industrial vibration resistance.

TMR technology is also used in the 8110 to guarantee functional safety even against single point of failure in our three independent processing channels that work in parallel and cross-check each other.

Our HIFT (hardware-implemented fault tolerance) design can provide fast fault detection and selfdiagnosis, and its self-diagnosis ratio can >99.9.

Where the distance between the 8110 main rack and the extension rack is up to 30 meters, and up 2 kilometers to the remote extension rack. The installation can be maximum 1 main rack, 8 extension racks and 6 remote extension racks.

It is easy to configure the device, can be equipped with a wide range of I/O modules, and provides hot swap functionality without downtime.

The 8110 is suitable for safety critical applications in industry sectors such as petrochemicals, oil and gas, power including emergency shut down systems (ESD), burner management systems (BMS).

Rigorous environmental tests (Cold/Hot Start, power drops and surges, high humidity and temperature etc.) are taken to guarantee stability for use in complex industrial environment as well.
