Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) Architecture
AI3351 is based on TMR architecture for parallel processing of signals in 3 channels. It maintains consistency in data, adopts hardware / software voting to avoild any single point of fail and is SIL3 safety integrity level certified.
The facility with redundant structure is automatically switched but it continues to operate when one channel goes out, and stops the entire system off for maintenance.
High reliability and environmental suitability

Triconex AI3351 also supports hot swapping in that control process won't be interrupted when online replacing module for easy electrical isolation during debugging.
